I
take this opportunity to thank the entire St Teresa fraternity for their
collective effort, commitment and determination which has enabled us to be
where we are. Above all, I thank the Almighty God without whose divine
intervention and guidance, the dreams and aspirations of this institution would
not have been realized. From a humble, small beginning with only 6 learners, I have witnessed this
institution gradually grow to what it is now. I owe this to hard work and the
positive action that each of us has taken towards fulfilling their purpose. Much regards go to Mr. Joshua Atua, The Director, whose support towards establishing this institution is priceless. I thank all the staff, led by the headteacher, Mr. Stephen Mwangangi, who have worked hard to bring out the best in the learners. The teachers have actually volunteered to give back to the community by teaching the needy learners that form 50% of our enrollment population. I too thank the parents for their cooperation which has enabled us to run smoothly over the 10 years since the birth of St Teresa Community Centre School. Faith in God, which is our foundation, calls for hard work. Yes, its only hard
work which will enable the learner to exploit the potential, gifts and talents
that God has deposited in them; its only ACTION that will cause our efforts to
yield in results. A better future is guaranteed to every pupil who diligently
works hard. And we are fully committed to see to it that our learners get the best for their future, even besides the many challenges that we are facing due to financial setbacks. it is my desire that in the future, St Teresa Community Centre School will be able to even accommodate many learners, with boarding facilities for better service delivery to the pupils and the community at large.
